Berlin Festival is repositioning itself

Berlin, 31^st July 2018: from 3^rd - 5^th August the Internationales Berliner Bierfestival takes place for the 22^nd time already. This year’s theme is ‚Beers from the other side of the world - New Zealand’s best’. With a length of 2,2 km along Karl-Marx-Allee the Internationales Berliner Bierfestival presents itself as the longest beergarden in the world with 350 breweries from 90 different countries and 2400 beer specialities. The annual tourist attraction is expecting numerous peacefully celebrating visitors. Over the years the festival has become an important economic factor for Berlin.

This year the festival is repositioning itself: the Internationales Berliner Bierfestival is now also active in social media and is represented on Facebook. With the ALEXA shopping mall the organizer has won a strong cooperation partner: from 25^th - 27^th July the ProBierKrug was being presold exclusively. The pre sale and the festival will be accompanied by local radio stations Energy 103,4 and 104,6 RTL. To give young artists a platform the Internationales Berliner Bierfestival is looking for the ‚Bierfestivalstimme 2018‘. A culinaric street food offer and show cooking by TV- and show chefs Heiko Schulz and Dirk Müller round off this year’s festival.

The Internationales Berliner Bierfestival is organized by PRÄSENTA GmbH with the support of the german association of private breweries in collaboration with the municipal district Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. As every year the entry is free. „We are looking forward to being able to initiate so many new things and continue to evolve in the future!“, says Lothar Grasnick, CEO of PRÄSENTA GmbH.
