The 18th International Berlin Beerfestival from 1st to 3rd August 2014
Motto: craft-brewed beers specials
The 18th International Berlin Beerfestival is taking place at the traditional area along Karl-Marx-Allee (2.2 km) in the centre of Berlin from 1st to 3rd August 2014.
Having started in 1997 this unique event grew up to be a highlight for everyone who wants to savour the variety of beer from all over the world.
Since 2011 the „beermile“ has been known as „the longest beer garden“ from the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSTM. where about 320 breweries from 86 countries present about 2,000 beer specialities from Strausberger Platz to Frankfurter Tor.
Each year a special different beer region or country is in the focus of the event. In 2008 we presented, for example, the Czech Republic, in 2009 Belgium, in 2010 Vietnam, in 2011 we set up a new world record, in 2012 beers from the area around the Baltic Sea, and in 2013 beers from Poland were in the centre of attention.
The organizer of the Internatinal Berlin Beerfestival, PRÄSENTA GmbH, is expecting about 700,000 visitors from all over the world to join music and shows on 20 stages.
